The LoA (Law of Attraction) became very popular after the proclaim book: The Secret came out in 2006. The sudden Law appeared in every motivational book published soon after. The principle of “Thoughts become things” are believed by many to be superficial theories that have no depth because of the nature of the law. No one can just think of something and it will suddenly appear moments later. I agree that the LoA are missing a few points in the reality scheme of things but it is a start. The LoA do not proclaim that all your thoughts will come true by just thinking about them. It is crucial that you first think about it, believe it will happen and take action to make sure it does happen. Ask, Believe and Receive are an integrated part of this law.
Nothing is perfect in this world and I agree that during time of stress and especially when everything goes wrong in your life, we tend to think negative about ourselves and our actions. We lose the motivation to do anything, especially when it comes to our dreams and goals. Who can think about moving forward in life when everything around you goes down the drain. Actually, this is when you need to put aside all these troubles and focus on something more productive. It will be challenging, of course, but still doable. In time of distress, we tend to close in and not want to do anything. However, how can that be of any help to you moving forward? It is important to really think making changes and today is the time to make them.
