Message from the Universe: The baby steps that are required to succeed!

“You don’t take “baby steps” for the distance they cover, but to put yourself within reach of life’s magic.
Just like you don’t hoist your sails to move the boat, but to put yourself within reach of the wind.
Hoist, baby, hoist, baby, 1, 2, 3, 4 –

It may sometimes seems like you are running on a treadmill and not going anywhere and it can be quite frustrating. If that isn’t enough, you may sometimes not arrive at destination either, or at least at the results you were predicting. Life isn’t going to happen to way we anticipate at times. We look forward to something and then faced with the biggest challenge of our life. We feel like nothing we can do to plan will amount to anything great. We need to realize one important thing here. Life is not a sprint, it is a marathon. It is about planting as many seeds as you can and water the ground until you can see something flourish. It may take longer before you see anything though, so just be patient. Every step you take towards reaching your goals is one step closer to getting there. It may seem like there is no horizon in sight, or like no light at the end of the tunnel, but despite these uncertainties, it is crucial to continue walking on your path, but also be ready to change path when needed.
If you need to walk back to your starting point, then just do that. There is no reason why you should continue on a path of misery. Are you fed up with your toxic relationship? Just leave and don’t start thinking about how will you find another significant other. You may encounter situation like: “If you leave me, no one will want you and you will never find anyone like me”. Well, that is the whole point here, that is why you are leaving, in the hope of NOT finding anyone like him. If he is toxic, why go with someone similar. So at the end, you are the one coming out a winner. Be willing to start slow, taking these baby steps as you will learn how to avoid disaster a second time around. Single life can actually be alluring, and having the opportunity to meet a ton of new people, going out, exploring the city again where you never had the chance to do in your previous toxic relationship. Life will get better, one step at a time.
