Message from the Universe: Why are things happening this way?

By all means, quantum physics totally rocks. Just don’t let its search for the unifying equation of the cosmos distract you from using it.

I mean, one needn’t know trigonometry to use chopsticks, eh? Gravity was gravity long before Newton, huh? And between now and the time they reveal their little theorem, your thoughts will unceasingly become things, as the entire world spins in the palm of your hand.

Aren’t we amazing?

I can be the first to say that understanding quantum physics sciences is pretty awesome and really interesting to learn the subject. Despite the fact that science was not my favorite subject in high school, I felt something was missing in my life. As I went for my doctorate degree, I came back into loving science and understanding the meaning of the Universe. What is dark matter? How about dark energy? Why is earth positioned that far out from the Sun? If it was further, will it be able to bear life? How about closer to the sun? Everything you see in space has a purpose, and I am sure that earth-like planet exists in parallel Universes. Hubble telescope can see only as far as when the Big Bang happened, but what about that big Crunch that many scientists are talking about? Obviously, that point of singularity had to start from somewhere, and not begin this way. The Universe has a cycle, and breath like human lungs by inhaling and exhaling. Everything works in perfect synergy, and we need to respect that what we see around us is based on a power that we can’t really explain.

That power we see is a power we also possess. No need to be concerned about why or how things work the way they do, we just need to trust the Universe to work its way to making things happen for us. We are sometimes very disappointed with life’s outcomes, but this is how it’s supposed to be. We can’t argue purpose, we can’t argue reasons why the Universe works in mysterious ways, and the best way to keep our sanity is to allow things to happen just because they have to. We have no control over anything, except what we do from within. Everything else is left for the Universe to apply its magic and to make your dreams a reality.
